Cool Edit
Overview: Special application for editing audio files. Several functions, filter and effects offer lot of possibilities.
Details: For the sound effects of the computer game "Airline Tycoon" complex sound operations were neccessary.

DOS/Windows/OS2/Unix
Overview: These four operation systems show the today dominating markets. Concerning Windows and Unix their variants (95/98/NT/ME/2000/AIX/Solaris/...) are included.
Details: As a user I've been using the systems for years extensively. As programmierer I've already developed software for DOS, Windows and Unix.

Dreamweaver
Overview: Widespread program from Macromedia for the development of HTML-pages. The program makes it easy to edit at the WYSISWYG und Sourcecode view.
Details: Normally I write HTML-Seiten due to quality reasons directly as sourcecode. Dreamweaver explicitly supports this which is very good for me.

IBM Visual Age for Java
Overview: Advanced development environment for Java.
Details: This excellent IDE integrates an editor with CASE support for grafical user interfaces. Complex issues can be put together with a mouseclick where normally pages of sourcecode would be needed.

MS-C++
Overview: A widespread IDE for C++ in the world of windows. It is very comfortable to use and quite stable.
Details: I'm using this tool since quite a long time for the development of C++ applications because it is very comfortable to use. It can only be used for windows target plattforms.

MS-Office
Overview: Standard Programmpaket for Office Applications.
Details: Due to years of experience with it I know the MS Office-Applications quite good. Starting from complex formulas in excel, over master foils in powerpoint to stylesheets in word.

Paintshop
Overview: Jasc Paintshop is an ambitious graphics program which is extended rapidly. It is very compact and can be used very efficiently.
Details: I use Paintshop in combination with Photoshop. Both applications have their advantages. While Paintshop is more compact, faster and easier to use, Photoshop has much more function.

Photoshop
Overview: Adobe Photoshop is the standard application for professional image editing. It offers lots of functions and a large number of plugins.
Details: I use Paintshop in combination with Photoshop. Both applications have their advantages. While Paintshop is more compact, faster and easier to use, Photoshop has much more function.

Poser
Overview: Poser from Curious Labs is a special graphics application to model and animate humans in 3d.
Details: For Ari Data I made a prototype of a computer game with poser to show how the later might look like.

WebSuxxess
Overview: Small and inexpensive program to analyse webserver logfiles.
Details: WebSuxxess allows a quite simple analysis of webserver traffic. The features however are limited and it can't handle large logfiles very well.

WebTrends
Overview: Quite powerful application for anaylsing webserver logfiles.
Details: WebTrends allows the analysis of webserver traffic. It is more powerful than WebSuccess and can handle larger logfiles. But it is more difficult to use; several times I had to find work-arounds for problems.

Wise Installer
Overview: Powerful and easy to use application for creating installation programs.
Details: After testing several installation programs I choose Wise Install Builder. Mostly because it was easy to use and had an integrated skript language. I used the Install Builder for a complex installation process that installs drivers depending on the operation system.
