Why wasn't the name recognized?

Top  Previous  Next

To write the addressing phrase, ReplyButler needs the name to be recognizably written in one of these places:

The sender
The sender's e-mail address
In the e-mail in a line "Name: ..." (for website form mails)
At the end of the e-mail

ReplyButler cannot write the addressing phrase if...

...the e-mail has multiple recipients
...the first name cannot be clearly recognized ("Thomas Otto")
...multiple first names with different genders are present ("Peter Maria Miller")
...the first name is very unusual ("Sangil Wong")

You can still use the "Addressing" button the to store the name permanently. If you feel that ReplyButler should have recognized the name, forward the e-mail to us, please. We'll keep it confidential and will try to improve ReplyButler.
