What are cliptexts?

Cliptexts are text modules. Defined once, you can insert them over and over. That's very useful for text and answers that you use frequently. ReplyButler brings along several cliptexts, you can find them in the menus that are displayed in the ReplyButler toolbar. Give them a try.

 

Define your own cliptexts

Cliptexts are stored in cliptext libraries. To store your own texts, you should start with your own cliptext library:

1.open the "Configuration" menu of ReplyButler and choose "Configure all cliptext libraries".
2.Choose "New" / "Create a new ClipTextLib".
3.Choose a path and filename where you'd like to store your file.
4.In the next dialog ReplyButler can predefined some buttons for you.
5.A window with a (still very small) tree structure will appear. Here you can enter your own cliptexts.

 

Define more own cliptexts

If you've already defined your own cliptext libraries, you have several options to add more texts:

In the "Configuration" menu use the menu item "Create cliptext from selection"
In the "Configuration" menu use the menu item "Create cliptext from clipboard"
Hold the key "Ctrl" pressed while clicking on a toolbar button to add the text to this button library
Hold the key "Shift" pressed while clicking on a toolbar button to edit this button library
