Security notice for passwords

Print this Topic Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Easy2Sync stores user names and passwords automatically encrypted in the Easy2Sync data file "Easy2Sync.sdb" on your hard disk. Since Easy2Sync (necessarily) contains all used algorithms and data to decrypt these passwords, it is theoretically possible that a third person might get into possession of your passwords. Of course, this is only possible if the third person got into possession of the file "Easy2Sync.sdb" beforehand.

If the chosen connection requires username and password and enter either no information or wrong information, then Easy2Sync will ask you when the task is being executed (and not store this information permanently).
