Two PCs, one e-mail

Notebooks are not a luxury item any longer and many working people have such a mobile helper nowadays in addition to their normal desktop PC. But when you're sending and receiving e-mails with MS Outlook while you're on the road, you're running into problems sooner or later. With amazing accuracy you'll always need the information, contacts or calendar items stored in the other computer. Greetings from Murphy.

So you need a trick to have all your e-mails, contacts and calendar items on both PCs. Automatically, please, so that you won't need to remember on which computer you edited which item. Enter the programm "Easy2Sync for Outlook". It scans your Outlook data on both PCs and transfers the changes. The great thing here is that the program automatically knows which e-mail, contact or calendar item was changed (or deleted) on which computer and repeats this action on the other computer, like a mirror. Things that weren't changed don't get copied. That saves a lot of time.

What you need for this is some kind of connection between the PCs. Normally that's a network cable, but a WiFi network or an USB stick will work nicely, too. The formerly mentioned is very useful if your PCs are located at distant places, e.g. in your office and at home - The USB stick will serve as a bridge. Before you can start synchronizing, you have to tell the program WHAT you actually want to have synchronized. For this, you just have to select the data on your both computer and decide whether you want to synchronize all of it or just a part, like the calendar. Several filters make the work life easier and allow for example to skip private items when synchronizing with the office computer.

GIVING THE DIRECTION

Even though the synchronization is the mean feature, the program features several more modes. If you want, you can switch to a different mode, like "copy". Instead of synchronizing the program will just copy. Changes are then transferred into one direction only - perfect for making backups. Not only from PST files, but also from Exchange accounts. Apart from sync and copy, the program features several more modes that make the program a real Swiss army knife for managing Outlook data at a larger scale.

To get things started the program is available in a limited Freeware Edition and for smaller uses in the Home Edition. The Business Edition has the complete feature set.
